Program Notes: 

Mosaic is a work in progress for violinist, Dian Zhang. The inspiration hit during the last week of classes (2015) and I ended up writing six pieces in about six days. In this suite, I am exploring an array of styles rather than rigorously committing to any one. The first six draws from bluegrass, twelve-tone expressionism, gospel, rock, and classical influences… more to follow!
