Program Notes: Mysterium is a “wordless motet” which is meant to reflect how human words are often inadequate in speaking to or about God. It seems that this inadequacy of words springs from our inability to fully comprehend the whole of reality, especially those things that exist beyond the limits of sensory input. Mysterium seeks to convey a sense of awareness and awe at the mysteries of the Divine, without relying on language and speech…
